Dottie Arnao is the artist/designer and entrepreneur behind Arnao Designs. She has spent most of her life in New Jersey and has moved to Santa Fe New Mexico. Arnao Designs jewelry captures the Santa Fe spirit and molds it to the boldness of the East. Each piece reflects the designer’s influence of western spirituality with her roots in New Jersey. Dottie started her career in Special Education where she has either taught or been an Educational Diagnostician for over 30 years. She has also worked as a test developer and an assessment coordinator. She has spent the last 15 years honing her jewelry skills where she has studied under some of the top experts in the field. Dottie’s journey has taken her into the wonderful world of wire, metalsmith, lapidary (the cutting of the cabochon) and PMC (Precious Metal Clay).
